CYNTHIA BARBOUR ARTIST
I am a traditional artist, trained in oils, currently enjoying the freedom that the acrylic medium affords me as to speed and size of canvas enabling me to create really "big" buffalo and horses, my current passion.
I have had the privilege of having very talented art teachers since I was 14years old. I sold still lifes and metal sculpture in high school. A little later on I combined my love of color, still life and gardening into a Floral Design career. I took classes in equestrian art, figure drawing and in oil painting, and am now teaching classes locally myself. I finally have the time and the focus to be what I am an artist. Thanks to my husband and fellow artist and our oldest son also an artist, I have contact with you, an art appreciator, via the internet.
